This 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe is a pristine, collector-grade example showing just over 6,900 miles. Finished in the highly sought-after shade of Copperhead Orange Satin Coat with dual factory-painted black racing stripes, this vehicle represents an incredibly rare styling configuration. 1,117 3rd generation Viper coupes were produced. Of those, only 51 were delivered in Copperhead Orange. Of those, production registry records confirm that this is one of only 11 coupes that left the factory with dual black painted racing stripes.
Power is delivered by an all-aluminum 8.3-liter V10 engine paired with a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car has been meticulously preserved by its three owners, with the drivetrain remaining entirely stock and unmodified (except for 3.55 differential gear upgrade) since it rolled off the Conner Avenue Assembly line in Detroit. This car was originally delivered at Stoneridge Dodge in Pleasanton, CA, and kept by the original owner in northern CA. The car was relocated to Texas in 2018, where it remains.
The exterior is finished in Copperhead Orange Satin Coat (Paint Code: PLB), an exclusive color, accented by factory-applied, dual black painted racing stripes. The ZB I generation marked the return of the double-bubble fixed hardtop coupe body style, featuring an integrated rear spoiler, side-exit exhaust outlets, a functional hood scoop, and front fender vents.
The paint finish is in nearly flawless condition, with no notable rock chips, scratches, or blemishes, except for a very small scuff and touchup at the bumper/fender intersection of behind the right rear wheel. While hard to see in person, please see photos for a the clearest possible view.
Factory 18-inch front and 19-inch rear five-spoke polished aluminum wheels are wrapped in the original Michelin Pilot Sport high-performance tires the car wore out of the factory. Braking is handled by Viper-branded Brembo four-piston calipers over ventilated rotors at all four corners.
The car has always worn paint protection foward of the A-pillars and in other critical areas. All PPF film was refreshed in late 2019, and remains in superb condition. The car is always kept covered and garaged up on a 4-post lift.
The interior was beautifully upgraded by the original owner with professionally installed premium grade color-matched copperhead orange leather on the underdash, center console, and inner door panels. He also had the center dash and center console refinished in ceramic-coated copperhead Orange Satin. This car has the limited copperhead-edition black leather / suede factory seats, steering wheel, parking brake boot, and shift boot with contrasting copperhead orange stitching and ‘Viper’ embroidery.
The original owner also had Dynamat sound deadening, additional Subwoofers, and a short throw shifter installed. Billet aluminum interior trim pieces, add a nice cosmetic upgrade, but are also easily removable.
The power windows and locks, air conditioning, adjustable pedals, and a factory Alpine AM/FM/CD audio system are all in perfect working order. The interior plastics, seat bolsters, and carpeting show zero signs of wear, consistent with the vehicle’s ultra-low mileage.
The legendary 8.3-liter (505ci) 90-degree V10 engine was factory rated at 510 horsepower @ 5,600 RPM and 535 lb-ft of torque @ 4,200 RPM. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec T56 six-speed manual gearbox and a Dana 44 Hydra-Lok speed-sensing limited-slip differential.
The engine bay is exceptionally clean, retaining all factory labels, stamps, and original components. The engine is 100% stock and all OEM fluids were regularly replaced and refreshed. Everything operates like new, and the car runs, shifts, and drives perfectly.
